(Also sometimes called 'Hopi Ear Candling', 'Ear Coning' or 'Thermal Auricular Therapy.')
Ear Candling is said to be an ancient treatment that found its way into Europe in the mid 1980s, and has enjoyed an ever-increasing rate of popularity ever since. Many people, including a growing number of health professionals now endorse this Complementary Therapy as both a preventative as well as curative treatment.
The benefits of ear canding (with facial massage) are numerous, to include --

It is not recommended that you receive ear candling treatments if you suffer from any of the following conditions --
- any damage to the eardrum
- absence of the eardrum
- ear infection
- ear surgery (less than 6 months prior to treatment)
- a growth (or tumour) in the ear of unknown cause
- presence of grommets, or any other foreign object
- allergy or sensitivity to the ingredients of the ear candle
